Really great place for breakfast. We discovered this 'strip mall' while on our way between Long Pond and Seawall Campground and stopped by the liquor store. We made a mental note of this cafe and decided to give it a shot for breakfast the next day as it was packed with patrons. We ended up going here 2 days in a row for breakfast which generally means it was well received with good value identified. Both days we spent between 18-22 dollars for two people and left quite full. The positives: - Eggs are all real from a chicken and not liquid slurp from Sysco. - Three varieties of home made bread to chose from. We loved the Anna bread so much that it was all we kept asking to be served. - Pancakes made with real fruit (blueberry one was delicious) and they have the option for Real Maple Syrup for 2$ more in lieu of the pure corn syrup variety. - Coffee served is Green Mountain and refills are free and plentiful. - They have a fruit bar option which comes with eggs and toast for around 8$. Fruit bar included homemade fruit cake, pineapple, cherries, strawberries, yogurt, trailmix, etc. The negatives: - Fruit bar is only good for one visit. If you go back for more food you may be charged extra. (This is a negative as this is not stated anywhere.) - Jellies provided are not homemade from the island but instead prepackaged corn syrup packets. - Sausage is simply 2 frozen patties. I was expecting real sausage links at a place like this. - Mushroom were canned. Cmon, how can you call yourself a restaurant and use tasteless rubbery canned mushrooms in omelets made with real eggs? Unacceptable. - Around 1030 in the summer, the place got really hot and I was sweating profusely. Think some fans are needed to be installed. In summary, best place in the area for breakfast more than likely and definitely a value if you know what to order. We spent 22$ the first time and 18$ the second time knowing to just get eggs/homemade bread with the fruit bar and stay away from the omelets and meats. Will be back again when camping at Seawall.

Just your average-Joe's diner. It's half the price of the same breakfast at a tourist place, and it seems to serve the same basic food. The portions were fine, and it was entertaining to look at all the dumb humorous signs on the wall --- most of them about the grumpiness of the staff at the restaurant. And the truth is that the staff has an edge, and that's okay, too.

Definitely a hidden gem. Quiet local diner where the locals go. The food was great and service was quick. Try the homemade cinnamon bread! So good!

We just had a satisfying and delicious breakfast a Brandon and Laura's. My husband's eggs were fluffy perfection, homemade bread divine, and my cinnamon French toast was out of this world. Yummy home fries and coffee complimented our meals perfectly! Even the bacon - usually I can take it or leave it but this was exceptional and I stole a piece from my husband's plate. Another bonus is that they serve breakfast until 2. Laura is friendly and welcoming, we were very happy with the service and our meals!

We didn't feel like "eating out" but didn't have food to cook at our place so we came here for take out. The ham and cheese sandwich was simple but good. Seafood platter was shrimp, scallops, and haddock (all fried) with fries and was good. I had a burger with cooked onions, cheese, and bacon, and was surprisingly tasty. Not a ton of menu choices but good food.

We got a recommendation to eat here from a local guy working at our campground. We liked our breakfast so much we went back the next day to eat, as well. It's not one of those touristy, overpriced places you find in Bar Harbor. Instead, it's a tried and true diner where the locals sit around and read the paper. The coffee is good, the bacon is good, and the homemade bread for toast is especially good.

The service wasn't friendly. Lots of eye rolling, and silence, friendly to locals, though...Is it really that hard to smile and be pleasant? Was not even busy...The food was ok though...the coffee was ok...the back had their act together but the front just had attitude.

This place came highly recommended by the owners of the Seawall Motel and I'm really glad we listened to them. It was a perfect place to get an amazing breakfast before going for a hike in Acadia. The eggs and bacon were cooked perfectly and their homemade bread was so delicious. While the jelly was prepackaged, they had an apple cinnamon one and it was a perfect pair with the homemade bread. My husband and I loved it so much we went back the next day for breakfast again. It was excellent food for a reasonable price. The service was fast and friendly. Best food we ate in the area of southwest harbor.
